"What it Means to be a
Confessing Lutheran Christian at the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation."

The Immanuel Board of Parish Education presents: WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CONFESSING LUTHERAN CHRISTIAN AT THE 500TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REFORMATION.
We have all heard about Martin Luther, and we know that he posted his 95 Theses on October 31, 1517 on the church door in Wittenberg. This year we observe and celebrate the 500th anniversary of that bold demonstration of Luther's beliefs. However, the Reformation is so much more than that. During
the 4-week series, we will grow in our understanding of what it means to be a "confessing or confessional" Lutheran in the 21st century. Hint: It's all about Jesus.

The Rev. Paul T. McCain, publisher at Concordia Publishing will present this four-week series at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 9733 Olive Blvd. in the Fellowship Hall. We'll begin promptly at 7 PM. Dates: September 18, 25 and October 2 and 9.
